The regular live music and spacious garden bar make for a great atmosphere. We ordered the fish of the day and the smoked lamb and I was really impressed by these super tasty meals! Yum, we'll be back!

It's the only place with a good use of the outdoor area. It was the old Glenfield Tavern. Beautiful beer garden - it's a proper English-style pub.

This is one of the coolest pubs in Auckland for kids to enjoy. With a sandpit out back and incredible menu specials, I was pretty blown away when a local in the know took me here to wolf down my favourite meal - pizza washed down with a cold brew. There’s lots of great places and spaces to eat, drink and play and the staff don’t mind at all if the kids simply run free. Plus the decor is super-flash, but not quite as flash as the burgers they serve. They are heavenly so don’t miss ordering one and then helping to steal your mate’s fries too!

The Postman's Leg is my favourite place to eat locally. This fabulous garden bar has a nice grassy area and sandpit to keep the kids entertained. During the weekend, it's a great place to relax while listening to one of the talented musicians who play on the lawn. Check out one of their value meal specials which includes Pizza Night on Wednesdays and Fish & Chips night on Fridays. My favoutite menu item has to be their delicious beef burger served with a side of chunky fries.

What a great job has been done of refurbishing the Glenfield Tavern ... it's an awesome place now, upmarket and with great style, plenty of enjoyable spaces including fantastic outdoor seating and play areas for kids.  Good food too.  Having very enjoyable nights out here.

We were here for a 40th party and it was absolutely awesome.  The room hired had its own bar set up which was really good, quick service too (considering the amount of people).  The food was fab too, they served these mini burgers which were so yum as well as pizzas. Great venue, would love to come here for dinner in the main restaurant!

One of the newest pubs / places to eat in Glenfield on the North Shore. Stopped in on Sunday for brunch, they have a really mummy menu all at a reasonable price and an extensive beer and wine list also. Great place to just hang out with friends and chat with some really good food and a few drinks.The outside setting on the BIG deck is great on a sunny day with a sand pit for the kids to play in. If your looking for somewhere to hold a function there's a private room that can cater for about 100 people. Stop in and try the Postman Leg, I don't think you'll disappointed, I wasn't and I'll be back for sure.
