The Mercury Plaza is a hidden gem of a place behind Auckland's Karangahape Road.

There's a variety of great authentic international eateries here, perfect when lunchtime rolls around and you have no idea what you're in the mood for.

Some of the mouthwatering offerings include Japanese hand-rolled sushi, Korean dumplings, steaming hot Malaysian laksa and more. Generous portion sizes and affordable prices mean both your belly and wallet will leave happy. Free parking is available for customers too!

So many goodies for Lunch. My fav has got to be the freshly made sushi.

    This place has become one of my regulars. They have consistenly good quality, delicious food at a reasonable price. What more could you need?!

      Yummy food and affordable prices, what more do you need!! It's not so flash, but if you can look past that you're sweet! Great stop for lunch or dinner :)

        This place is a no thrills, what you see is what you get kind of place BUT it's awesome! Tucked just behind K road, it's a great place to go for lunch when you don't know what you feel like. So many choices but I'd recommend the Sushi.

          Cheap as chips and great quality

            Mercury Plaza is a little rough around the edges but its always packed as the food is quick, portions are large and it’s a favourite among locals!

              We’d heard a lot about Mercury Plaza and their sushi - namely that it is insane value and extremely delicious! Curious, we headed there on a Sunday night and it is hands down the best food court experience I’ve had. Not fancy at all but you can buy a beer from the mini market and enjoy the delicious and cheap sashimi till your heart’s content.

                This one's right up there for me in the value for money stakes. Located in the Mercury Plaza Foodcourt, Som Tum offer six giant fresh spring rolls for $9, filled with prawns, rice noodles, coriander and all that other good stuff. Served with a delicious chicken stock soup, laced with ginger. And, last but not least, you can park free while you eat - a rarity in the CBD!

                  You can even get your haircut done at this amazing food court. Was excited when I found this place three months ago, with an amazing market and lots of food options. Decor is average but just adds to the ambiance really. Highly recommend.

                    Tucked around a corner just off Karangahape Road, The Mercury Plaza is a food court-slash-mini mart, stocking Asian seasonings, herbs, fresh vegetables and fruits alongside some great Asian food that has been expertly prepared. Thai, Korean, Malaysian, Japanese and Singaporean food is all on offer, and the price for most dishes ranges from an amazing $4.00 to $8.00.
