The Mercury Plaza is a hidden gem of a place behind Auckland's Karangahape Road.

There's a variety of great authentic international eateries here, perfect when lunchtime rolls around and you have no idea what you're in the mood for.

Some of the mouthwatering offerings include Japanese hand-rolled sushi, Korean dumplings, steaming hot Malaysian laksa and more. Generous portion sizes and affordable prices mean both your belly and wallet will leave happy. Free parking is available for customers too!

Don't judge a book by it's cover! This hidden food court behind K'road could be one of Auckland's best kept secrets. Though the stalls are worn and the signs are broken, the food is the very opposite. No matter which stall you chose, whether you go for dumplings or sushi, you can guarantee your food will be authentic and delightful! The food here is well priced and suited to all ages. The parking is free, there is an abundance of seating and the food is consistently good.

    Located just one minute's walk from K Road, the Mercury Plaza food court offers a stunning range of Asian and Southeast Asian cuisines. With most stalls' dishes centred around a general $10 price point, Mercury Plaza operates in the perfect middle-ground between value and quality.

      Sushi is so fresh and delicious! Lots of different noodle soup options too.

        I recommend the Pad Thai!

          A great mix of Asian options here, but the Chinese is fab. Highly recommend the BBQ pork wonton soup here. Good quality and delicious broth.

            My favourite picks include the handmade steamed dumplings at Koreaunts, the Pad Thai at Ruan Thai Thong, the laksa from the Malaysian stall that I can’t remember the name of.

              If you haven’t been to Thailand or Malaysia this is as authentic as it gets and it’s not expensive!

                This place is great for grabbing lunch during the work week. So many tempting choices and so cheap! My favourites are the pad thai at Ruang Thong and the massive handmade dumplings at Koreaunts.

                  Not only does this food court offer Japanese goodness, the food court has multiple Asian cuisines to try with little damage to your bank account.

                    Best Won-Ton noodles in Auckland. Very well priced aswell
