Named after the old Pepper Tree at the front of the restaurant, this is a local favourite when it comes to an evening meal out. Open as a cafe and lunch spot during the day, the atmosphere is relatively casual and laid-back. Another mouth-watering menu featuring some of the Coromandel’s best kai moana, and plenty of it’s quality wines. Tip: try the mussels or, for a light meal, a freshly made sandwich on home baked bread.

    Great menu, friendly staff. Nice to see local Coromandel wine on the menu (& good it was too)! Wonderful sunny courtyard + plenty of indoor dining if it’s chilly outside.

      This place was so great that we all decided to go there two nights in a row. The atmosphere of the restaurant was really casual and laid back. The pork ribs were the highlight of the menu, but best of all was the super friendly service- our main reason for coming back on the second night.
