One of my favourite bars, this reminds me of home. With traditional tap beers and great food. The service is excellent and the ambience of the locals hard to beat. It's the perfect place for a night out with that special someone or a group. #gohealthynz

    Great range of beers, good food and friendly staff

      One of the best pubs on the shore. Good classic kiwi fun. Affordable goodness.

        Mad Dogs is a chill pub, great atmosphere and fantastic food. The steak sizzler (in the photo) is my favourite… it’s pretty much the epitome of pub food, the portions are huge and I’ve never been disappointed. Service is good, the staff are friendly, and there’s a nice outdoor seating area. Inside is a huge projector screen- it gets quite busy on game nights but it’s a great place to watch rugby.

          Had my first beer in this joint. great local. went back recently, still had its great prices. Always has some chirpy staff to get you into the swing of a jolly night. close to other fast foods and the cinema. drop your kids and run here. great big screen to watch rugby on. good pub.

            Im definitely not a pub person, but this is a place I really like going when the boys want to watch a sports game or something. Their food is very well priced and the portion sizes and quality are very good. They do your typical pub fare and do it well, especially their BLT and wedges. Yum. Nice people behind the bar too, and your food come very quickly. Great for hanging with mates while watching sports etc.

              If you English or not, this place is fantastic! They have a massive range of beer, and a number of them on tap, and a really good selection of food, from bar snacks, to wedges, to lamb shanks. My wife always comes in thinking of trying something else and always ends up with the lamb shanks every time cause they are so damn good!

                Went here couple of weeks ago for pub quiz.  Great atmosphere, Good pub food, huge portions great to share, loved the pizza. Enjoyed the quiz, though went a bit late for us group of mums on a night off.  Hope to go back soon.
