How do I earn tokens to redeem at the CornerStore?
There are lots of ways you can earn tokens - rate and review a business, add an event or share your opinion in a comment. You can also suggest businesses that you know of that are not already on our website. Each of the ways you participate are worth different amounts. This is the full list:
- Registering on Localist
- Setting your location for the first time
- Downloading and logging into our Localist mobile app for the first time
- Rating and raving about a business or event
- Adding a photo to your review
- Listing any events you want to promote
- Checking in to a business with our mobile app
- Adding a photo to your check in
- Successfully suggesting a business we should have on Localist
- Successfully inviting friends to join Localist
- Commenting on the content you read
- Taking our personality quiz for the first time
When you have enough tokens, you’ll be able to redeem these for cool rewards at the CornerStore.
How do I redeem tokens for rewards at the CornerStore?
Once you earn enough tokens to start redeeming rewards, go to the CornerStore and select which reward you would like to receive. Continue to the checkout to complete the transaction.
What rewards can I earn at the CornerStore?
You'll have access to a range of rewards. These will change from month to month. Visit the CornerStore to see what's currently available and regular updates of new rewards will be featured on our homepage.
How do I physically receive my reward?
If your reward is a ticket, you can pick this up from the venue. If it’s a store credit, you can redeem these in-store when you purchase an item. The details for receiving each reward can be found on that reward's information page.
Can I combine my tokens with money to make up the total value?
Unfortunately, no. If there’s something in the CornerStore you’ve got your eye on but don’t have enough tokens for it, you’ll just have to get busy on Localist! It doesn’t take long to clock up tokens so keep up the good work!
Can I transfer my tokens or gift to someone else?
Tokens are specific to an individual user and can't be transferred.
How can I view my total tokens balance?
You'll be able to see what tokens you've earned for each individual activity you complete (if it is eligible for tokens). Go to your dashboard to see your overall token's status.
Do tokens expire?
Yes, each token has a shelf life of 12 months.

I’m a business owner - how do I contribute a deal to the CornerStore?
If you’ve got a deal you think is awesome and want to share with everyone, we’d love to know. We’re looking for really great deals that will grab people’s attention. If we think your deal is good enough, we’ll pop it into our CornerStore so people can redeem their tokens on your products or services. Soon everyone will know about you.
