I came here for dinner a few months ago and loved it. I had the shed burger and it was amazing. Also shared the chocolate pot with my friend and that was one of the most delicious things I’ve ever tasted, definitely one to share though as it’s very rich! Came back today for lunch as I recently won some vouchers from localist for leaving another review. I had the brunch board and it was really good. Also great coffee, and excellent service both times I’ve been. We sat out the back today and it’s an absolutely beautiful setting. Will definitely be back, big thumbs up to the garden shed.

Went to the Garden Shed last night for the first time. One word - Awesome. The food, the service, the atmostphere. Nice work.

Great theme, nice place to catch up with people over a drink and food. Quality food, and a good range of beer and other drinks.

The fries and Ailoi here are absolutely amazing. fish and chips are great too and bread comes out in a little flower pot. super cute! highly recommend!

I love the theme of this place, super original and they went all out right through to the bathrooms! The coffee is good and strong and the smoothies are to die for. The chocolate fix is a winner! The fact they use their own fresh produce and locally sourced foods is also really nice. Another great place for brunch. Great atmosphere, great food and coffee and service is always top quality as well!

Nice

Food is great. Setting is gorgeous

Heaps of local craft beers and the beers on tap charge regularly. There's a sweet garden out the back and the boards are good too

Been 3 times already - Had the Shed Burger twice! Nothing more to say - Love this place!

A friend and I visited The Garden Shed during their first lunch service and as we stepped into the beautiful oasis, we were both immediately gob-smacked. Once you shimmy in the front door and head out back, you enter a beautiful garden oasis that's a world away from the hustle and bustle on the village street outside. As an avid gardener, I was instantly taken by the quirky theme that exists in everything from the decor - yes, many of those gardening tools hanging from the ceiling are antique family heirlooms, handed down through the owners' whanau for many generations with some dating back to as early as the 1800s - to the menu to the fact that the owner's father is responsible for creating, curating and maintaining the tranquil and quintessential Kiwi backyard, festooned with fabulous botanicals.
