Can’t beat Cornwall park on a fine day & what better way to enjoy than having a cup of tea right in the middle of it

We had a group of 8 for brunch one Sunday.  The waitress got a bit **** at us as we were having coffee and catching up before we ordered.  I dont like being rushed and if you have the table booked for another party it would nice for them to tell you so you know rather than them getting **** and making you feel like you have to rush.  I wasnt impressed with the service.  The waitress had a bit of an attitude.  The food was just ok, I wouldnt go back for the food.  A couple of the girls had the devonshire tea and I think its  bit of a rip off to be honest.  The other girls had all been their before and said its usually good so maybe my first time here was just an "off" day.  I would go back for a coffee after my walk but thats about it.

We've visited the Cornwall Park Restaurant on a number of occassions for lunch/brunch, but it really offers a lovely afternoon tea. It is is also the perfect setting, as if it's as if someone has popped a rather largae pocket of the countryside into the city. The grounds are quite lovely, expansive and gentrified. On a blue day, a table on the patio is quite lovely, but for a little more atmosphere, and to feel as if you're revisiting times of old, I'd recommend dining in the dining room. Service has always been friendly and prompt, and perfect for tea for two or more.

Nice location, beautiful view. Nice scan, booking is essential :)

I wouldnt so much reccomend this place for a meal as i would for high tea or just Devonshire tea. For a very reasonable price you will get a pot of tea fo your choice and two beautfuly baked fresh scones with jam and cream. A lovely place to sit and relax after a walk around One Tree Hill.

Scones like they should be and cute little sandwiches! High tea is the best :)

Went here for High Tea and was really impressed with the service. The food was lovely and the waiter regularly came and checked with us if we needed any more drinks. On a fine day I definitely recommend this place!

This restaurant is perfectly placed within the majestic beauty of Cornwall Park.  Seating on the patio I find to be ideal as you have a perfect view along with gorgeous sounds of  nature. The service is friendly, swift and very professional.

My young daughters were intrigued with the thought of High Tea so when a daily site listed a voucher for 50% off I nabbed it fast. We booked and turned up with great excitement.  I loved the elegence of the restaurant and superb outlook over the park. We ordered the tea of our choice and the cake stand turned up.  We got 11 items each which included 3 sandwiches,  3 savouries, and 5 sweet treats.  All divine. Total satisfaction.  Highly recommend this as a superb afternoon activity.  Walk round the park before hand so the guilt is lessened.
