Full service! The films are well chosen and even the snacks have that extra special something different. There's a great restaurant across the street if you want to dine and see a film. A refreshing departure from big mass mall cinemas.

When me old mum is in need of a night out on the town I take her to Bridgeway (she takes me cuz she pays but shh) and we see an art film then pop over to Sausalito for a bowl of delicious paella. It feels like an old school movie house here, they show films that are a little different and being joined to such an awesome restaurant also helps its case.

A cosy little cinema showing a good selection of both mainstream and alternative movies.

One of the North Shore's true gems, the Bridgeway is a beautiful old cinema which shows a great selection of mainstream and independent films. The staff are a delight and service is a priority here, make sure to check out the treats on offer to munch on while you're there. If you're after a meal before or after your movie, Sausalito, is located right next-door and features delicious wood-fired pizzas on it's tempting menu. Definitely a worthwhile trip across the bridge.

When you live in the inner city it is not far to get over the bridge to the Bridgeway. Charming, small, art house cinema with all the films on I ever want to see. Great place for organising a fund raising night for your school or community group.

I don't like cinemas as they tend to be grotty places, but the Bridgeway is lovely.  Classy, cosy, comfortable and great movies, lots of culture.  Love it!

We love taking the trip across the Bridge to the Bridgeway Cinemas, where it’s all rather boutique and could never be called a "complex". The coffee and snacks are first class and there are a few great restaurants in the area to pop into before or after if you’re making a night of it.

These guys play a great range of films. Lovely decor. Great service. An all round lovely experience.

Going to the movies can be a bit yuck as a lot of mainstream cinemas can be a bit skanky.  But going here is a pleasure and the movies are always quality and worth seeing.

I'm not really a cinema-goer. Although I've enjoyed some of the edgy exhibitions in other galleries, an equal number of those have missed the mark in some way. None of this really matters, as I just love this space, the ambience and the relaxed but generally on-the-ball staff. The cinema isn't the type of cinema which shows blockbusters, it's all international, old, independent or low budget films. Which is great, it's a place like no other in Auckland in that respect. Its no surprise they keep winning awards
