Whenever I feel like a cold is coming on or have indulged a little too much the night before, I head straight to Zus & Zo in Herne Bay for some grilled goodness and a glass of their Fresh Mint and Honey drink. It settles the tummy straight away and smells and looks delicious. The Ginger and Lemon option is another fave in our house, knocking the meanest cold straight on the head.

It’s hard to go past the corn fritters when scanning over the Dutch inspired menu at Zus and Zos. The fritters are served with fresh salad leaves, a generous whack of guacamole and crispy bacon. The fritterd themselves are crispy and packed with fresh tasting kernals. The coffee isn’t half bad either!

Going for breakfast, brunch or lunch at Zus & Zo is always a treat, even if you have been many times. The menu is sizeable as is the cheese omelette which I have indulged in many times. The coffee is superbly made and the sweet treats on offer are extremely tempting even when you are stuffed to the gunnels. I love sitting at the large table with a stack of magazines and relishing the atmosphere of this fine cafe, rain or shine.

I loved it! Great service too!

I was always a little skeptical of Zus & Zo after being some what underwhelmed by the fish I had sampled once at lunch (i think it was a special). Today the skeptic in me was laid to rest after ordering the madam croque (pictured). The meal consisted of layers of brioche toast, cheese and pastrami topped with a fried egg, and it was just what i needed. The coffee was also spot on and the service friendly (although due to it being busy, a little slow).

If you're in the area and looking for a good quality coffee or delicious food hit up Zus and Zo.  They've also got free wifi which is an added bonus. I love summer days at Zus and Zo!

Nice place - good coffee.

Here today for a girls lunch, was lovely! Good coffee, although the glasses were a bit small. Nice food that came out quickly.

Greasy, cheesy and with ham, these Dutch style eggs (a.k.a. Uitsmijter, $17) from Zus & Zo are a great time. Perfect for Saturdays that start a little hazy.

Super cute inside, very stylish interior. The only gripe and thing that confuses me is why they have the jams/spreads and water table in the middle of the cafe where the order counter is. It just means when you're waiting to pay or waiting for a table you're in the way of the waiters and waitresses who are scurrying about squeezing themselves between people to get super cute rustic jars of jam and knives. But apart from that the food is fantastic. Fresh ideas and dishes. Their wifi is pretty rubbish - never works when I'm there but oh well.
