You can grab a quick bite to eat and sit on the great St Heliers beach with it

Love this spot in St Heliers.

I found this hole-in-the-wall hidden gem in St Heliers only just the other day. I was on the hunt for my first (and only) coffee of the day and considering it was 4.30pm, I was after a strong, smooth hit of coffee goodness made from a locally roasted bean. And as soon as I saw the yellow exterior wall, the quirky interior styling (meet Marcel the bunny on their wall) and a sign for Altezano Fairtrade Organic Coffee (a wickedly good bean), I knew I'd found exactly what I was looking for. The coffee more than delivered and my friend's two-flavour milkshake made from the Joshua's ice cream that's hand-crafted on site was delish. We'll be back again really soon!

Favourite place to go for great coffee!~!

I love the service at this store and was really impressed by the delectable treats they had available. Definitely an A+ from me and will be going there again

Village Co-op have a fantastic range of ice cream and sorbet with both original flavours of their own creation and their own spin on all your favourite traditional flavours. I love it!

The ice cream and sorbet served here is handmade on site and it just tastes divine. I take all of my friends here and think it is a real Auckland treasure. It is right by the beach and the cones are affordable! To top it all off they give you cute little ginger bears or chocolate sticks with every waffle cone or cup! This place is perfect for hot sunny days. I wish this place was open late everyday so I could come here after dinner too!

These guys make the most outstanding ice cream ever!  Rewarewa honey ice cream?  It is to die for.

Village Co-op- an amazing, affordable option in what can be an expensive area. Two artisan loaves for $5, two two-litre bottles of Green Valley milk for $6.50 and the best homemade icecream and sorbet in the Auckland region. Espresso icecream, white chocolate and macademia, lemon curd, butterscotch fudge and boysenberry sorbet. A waffle cone and complimentary chocolate stick or gingerbread man costs a measly $3.50. Best kept secret that really shouldn't stay secret any longer! The Co-op serve very well made Altezano coffee. The staff are great, service is top-notch.
