After a serious lack of any sort of social hub in Waterview, The Waterview Coffee Project opened its doors in 2013 and has been serving great coffee every since!
It's a container full of goodness, from the barista who knows how to get your caffeine fix right, to the sweet set up of table and chairs, delicious baked goods and the interesting mix of diversity in the area.

I fell in love with The Waterview Coffee Project a little over a week ago, when I stumbled upon them during a cheeky lunch visit out West. The experience was humble, the people lovely and the sights mellow, exactly what I was in the mood for. I chatted the barista's ear off for a good hour, giving me a good dose of banter and barista charm, enough to get me through my busy afternoon that followed. Turns out I was in luck, as I also happened upon one of the new owners of The Waterview Project, who described the spot as "...a drop-in for the locals, where we get to know them and their stories". Really though, this cute little haunt is the ideal spot to relax with a hot cuppa joe and a smile on your face.
The Waterview Coffee Project is not your ordinary cafe - it is in a shipping container for starters! It was actually conceived as a way to get the suburb’s locals together and to keep them caffeinated, and has become a social hub since the moment it opened its doors. Barista Corey is one of the best in town too, so even if you’re not from Waterview I recommend a trip.
