The London Lolly Shop

Needed some sugar to keep me going after a not so great afternoon. Lovely selection at the London Lolly shop- more exciting by the fact that it was British and there were lots of cool things in neat packages. Super friendly staff. Great selection. Must check out. Must try them all!

It's impossible to go past this place without buying atleast one thing (normally closer to five though). Not only can you get a mouth watering range of British lollies, you can also pick up specialist drinks like Iron Bru.

Little bit of culture! Best variety of sweets in one shop! So many things I have never tired before! Awesome for gifts! or just to satisfy your sweet tooth! 

When I am in town, I always visit the lolly shop, not just for the free samples :D Bought a few surprises, pot noodle and chocolate. They have such a big range of sweets. Sweet,sour,creamy, savory, sparkly or fizzy.  Lolly shop is all over the place and famous in many places around the world. You can still find new things. This place sounds and tastes like home for a lot of people! Well done lolly shop! Wish they had a German version of Lolly shop :D

Love it here, all the sweets are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good. Its like being a kid again.  5 stars!!! 

For former English residents, this is a little bit of a trip down memory lane when you look around the shelves here - bon bons, sherbit dabs, Black Jacks... they are all here! The prices are quite high compared to other British shops in Auckland so I only go in here when I want an afternoon treat from the office but then real estate is high in downtown Auckland so it's to be expected. Tip: they often offer up a sample sweet so you can try before you buy.

This place takes me right back to when I was 10-years-old and buying penny sweets at the local corner shop... amazing range of nostalgic confection for every ex-pat living in NZ, and every NZer looking to try something from the motherland.
