Dinner
Having been here once and loved it I decided to bring my Mother here for an early meal last Friday. We booked a table and once again entered the woolshed looking building, wandering into the interesting Thai 'fake' jungle atmosphere. we again were welcomed by the friendly authentically dressed staff. We ordered a selection of starters which as always was good. Followed by 4 Thai dishes including a red curry, green curry, Jungle prawn dish and a pork noodles for the kids. Excellent tasty food with just the right amount of spicings. Excellent service and I love the hot towel upon arrival. Lovely sectioned off areas make it feel intimate yet alive. Still love this place and the food is pretty damn good.
We went with a work group of 40+ people we had a set menu and it was a banquet. We had our own entree but shared the mains.... the selection of mains was great something for everyone and there was plenty of food to go around. The thai food was fresh and clean and had beautiful flavors. I enjoyed the banquet as I tried thing I do not normally order. The duck curry was delicious and my favorite dish pad thai was excellent.
I took my aunt and uncle here for dinner on a weeknight. It took several tries at booking as they were often booked out (a good sign I thought!) and after a slight mix up with the booking they accommodated us. A fun, welcoming environment with lovely friendly staff and delicious food mean I definitely intend to go back.
I wonder is it possible to do bad Thai food. I am sure it is but everywhere we go it’s always the same. Tasty , cheap , plentiful. Jungle flavor is no exception. A pretty small place that from memory used to be a tile shop has been converted into a little piece of Thai jungle. I have only been in the dark. But they seem to not have done a bad job and it’s not as tacky as it could have been. It actually feels a bit jungle ish with wooden tables and panels and a whole lot of plants. They were packed the night we went but the good came out in good time and was good value for money. The hot towels on arrival a very old school (and not in a bad way) touch. All in all a good dinner at a good place. Very central loads of parking. Not too shabby.
This cute little Thai restaurant with its authentically fake jungle setting is a lot bigger than it initially seemed. The beautifully dressed & smiley Thai staff served our wonderful starter which was preceded by a hot towel to freshen up with. The food was well presented & tasty. We had the usual mixed starter of spring rolls, money bags & chicken satay for 4. We then chose 4 main meals and ended up taking 4 containers home with plenty of left-overs - it was fantastic food but there was just so much for 2 adults & 2 kids. Extremely tasty Thai food (and I have been to Thailand), well priced, & very good service . All in all a great meal out.
