Nice, clean and modern hotel on the shore. Nice to have one on the other side of the bridge for a change. All I can say is that it's NICE, so it's above average but I just can't seem to rave that much about it for some reason. It has all that you'd expect from a nice hotel, but it just seemed to lack something that i can't quite put my finger on. The staff were ok and the service passes so they get the tick in the box but i think that was about it for everything else too - it just wasn't exceptional I guess ! Good conference facilites and hotel rooms were nice too. Good food and quality was good too.
Last month my school ball was held at the Spencer on Byron and it was a really good experience. Being on the Ball Committee could've been really stressful having to set up and all but the staff there are amazing. They helped with setting up heaps of the things and allowed us to bring in things like a candyfloss machine to compliment our theme. At one point we realised they had put out the wrong colour table cloths but when we told them they quickly switched over without a fuss at all. They made our night amazing as the space was huge and the price not bad at all when divided between all of the people that came. Any person should not hesitate to book their event here because just like us you will not regret it!
