It's always weird if you are the only customers in a restaurant. But I really don't know why. The waiter was very friendly and attentive, the food was good, and prices were normal. The Roti was just too greasy, which I don't expect from a Roti - and all meat is from conventional farming but I guess that is the standard. Atmosphere is also standard, so could be nicer.

I was there around 8pm, so should've been the busy time for a restaurant. But like I said, I don't know why it wasn't busier.

There's nothing more to be said than: This place has the best butter chicken & lamb sagawalla ever.. it is A HUGE slice of Awesome for taste. Service is very good.  Nice location, nice place but the food.. OMG its GOOD!!! If only could get them to deliver to Blockhouse Bay ......

Used to go here quite a lot for lunch on Fridays when I worked in the area. They had, and may still have,a great $10 lunch special, incl a drink. Loved going there for a hot curry and a beer! :)

I usually get take aways from this place but have also dined in. My old flat ordered so frequently from this restaurant that we used to get little tasty traditional sweets included as a bonus. The service is great and the food fills that curry craving.

Have dined at your  restaurant on several occasions, just love the range of entree... thinking of it makes me want to have some... time for another visit I guess. Keep up the good work!

Went to Saffron on Saturday night as our "local Indian" couldn't fit us in for dinner so decided to take a punt on this place and I was pleasantly surprised. We were warmly welcomed and it wasn't long before I had a cold Kingfisher in my hand and the girls were being poured wine that we had brought with us.  I went for the Lamb Rogan Josh  and others in the group went for the vindaloo with a nice accompaniment of partha's and roti's. The food was sublime.  Nothing overpowering, just well cooked and packed with some really tasty flavours. One draw back for me was the ambience.  It could have felt a bit cosier. Great job and will defo be back.  Thanks for a great night.

We were lucky enough to get a daily deal voucher for 2 mains for $18.  Yes hard to believe. So made a booking and went along not knowing what to expect.   Had a Prawn Malabari and a butter chicken.  with a wine of course).   Superb Indian food and great service.  Voted in the Top 50 Restaurants by Metro Magazine 2008 and has kept its standards. Parking can be hit & miss. Lucky we missed hitting anything and got one nearby.
