I was introduced to the spicy squid salad from Otto Woo while interning for a communications company while studying. My boss there would shout me a salad when she was feeling generous. The salad, complete with crispy squid, is made up of fresh slaw, crispy noodles and a spicy, tart dressing. It's one spicy kick in the mouth that's always welcome.

    The pad Thai here I still stand by and say that it's the BEST in Auckland. The portions are huge and I struggle to get through a whole box 

      Otto Woo are great on those nights when cooking's not an option but you can't stomach the thought of dirty greasy. By contrast, Otto Woo serve up their healthy, tasty take on a range of Asian dishes and it works! They have shops all around town now too (Takapuna, Newmarket and Mission Bay as well as Ponsonby) - and also deliver!

        You’ve probably had Pad Thai before but you’ve not had Pad Thai unless you’ve tried Otto Woos. It’s 100% the best I have had outside of Thailand

          I hadn't been to Otto Woo for years and I finally went back a week ago and it is still so good. My friend and I both go the Chicken Bok Choy, which was only $13.50 and extremely flavorsome. The dish was covered in lemon and sweet chili sauce that they said they make themselves. There are many are dishes that I am keen to go back and try out. Unfortunately it is a bit more on the expensive side which is unlucky with the directly opposite but a part from that I would recommend this place for sure. 

            Otto Woo is so tasty, I especially like the fried rice with chicken AND prawns. It tastes a lot healthier that most other places and I love the fresh toppings they add such as lemon, ginger and garlic. The place in Ponsonby is great as it's in an ideal location, has friendly staff and they are pretty quick. It's saying something when there is a whole food-court full options right across the road and I still prefer to go there. 

              First of all a big thumbs up for not using any MSG! Unfortunately you don’t find that very often with places which serve Asian food. And it’s great to have lots of veggies with every meal! Everything I had was very yummy and just right. I’d highly recommend it. Just make sure you stir around as all the rice/noodles are on the bottom, under all the goodies of vegetables, nuts, and meat. Would deserve more stars if the ingredients were organic.

                      It was closed last Sunday when we tried it so we went across the road to the food court
