I Love Pies pies are some of the best around, and I don't say that lightly! Available from a wide range of supermarkets, bakeries, butchers and gourmet stores around Auckland, including Nosh in Ponsonby, they're made using quality, locally sourced ingredients, and a whole lot of love. Angus Beef Steak and Caramelised Red Onion or Creamy Lentil and Portabello Mushroom anyone? YUM.
We went there with our voucher of localist, and had a nice time shopping there and trying all the nice samples, cheese, crackers, cake - was delicious. We got really yammi things and the women at the fresh meat and cheese counter are very nice and let us try everything. We always thought it is expensive there, but some things are actually cheaper then at new world - 3 avocados for $2 :D Thank you very much.
I popped in here to use a $20 voucher I brought from the Corner Store, and purchased a few treats: - Wildearth pumpkin seeds - Dutch Bakery Stroopies (delicious if left sitting over your hot drink for a couple of mins, so the caramel goes gooey) - Olitalia balsamic vinegar - La Morena retried beans (authentic Mexican) Plus some black licorice which was eaten too quickly by my husband to make the photo!
I went to Nosh today to spend the Nosh Dosh I brought from The Corner Store. It's a great little store, filled with lots of gourmet food and treats. They have a good range of fruit and veges, a deli, butchery, fresh bread and lots more. They have some good specials dotted around the store. they also have customer parking, which is handy.
