New Flavour Restaurant is northern Chinese food big on portions and yes, on flavour. Food is fresh and at pocket change prices with minimal service and a very casual atmosphere. It’s also open extremely late – if you’re hungry at 1 AM and looking for a snack, come here.

Chinese tea is refilled continuously for free. A spicy chilli oil as well as soy sauce and black vinegar are plentiful for dumpling dipping according to your taste.

New Flavour is best in a group of four or more, with plates like the garlicky eggplant or deep-fried pork belly shared between you on the Lazy Susan.

If you find yourself wanting something other than McDonalds at 3 or 4 am then THIS is the place good people. Last time I went there with a friend we had depp fried chilli squid, sweet and sour pork and spring onion pancakes. OH MY GOODNESS SO MUCH GOODNESS!
