Chef Che Barrington is all about Asian fusion, with strong Thai influences to tease your taste buds with salty, sweet, hot and sour. MooChowChow is all about sharing and experiencing. The wine list is extensive and reasonable and the fresh fruit cocktails with crushed herbs are a delight.

Lunch is causal and relaxed. Dinner is busy, pumping and may mean sharing table space. Crampons are recommended to reach the dizzy heights of the upstairs bathroom. After several cocktails, how some make it down without just the aid of gravity is a miracle.

Amazing thai food with a modern twist best pork belly and love how you share all the platters. Perfect for nights out with friends or just for a romantic dinner for two.

Yum. That is all. Be sure to book as it fills up quick.

So hard to choose just one dish here. Oysters and pork spring rolls are amazing, of the mains both the pork hock is a winner.

I have so many favourite dishes here. The oysters & spring rolls are always a must have. Best main would have to be the beef cheek or the pork hock… Hard to choose!

Everything about Moo Chow Chow is awesome. Best service, amazing cocktails and food is to die for. Hands down beats newcomers to the asian fusion scene.

MooChowChow offers next level thai. The goat curry is to die for. I went with a bunch of vegetarian friends and it's great because they can add Tofu to most meals instead of meat.

The perfect thai and western fusion. Try the Red curry of slow-cooked Beef Rib w/ lemongrass, peanuts, shallots or the Jasmine-Smoked Crispy Salmon, choko, crispy shallots & galangal dressing. The right side of spicy that will have you tingling. Lashings of Uni Eagle HOT chilli sauce will have beads of sweat gathering at the top of your forehead. A place to impress. Stunning menu. Beautiful staff. Gorgeous ambience.

Thai restaurants are a dime a dozen in Auckland city, but not all are created equal. There are some places where the food to go is impeccable but the interior not too salubrious, but at MooChowChow on Ponsonby Road you’ll find the perfect mix. The menu is a riot of flavours and the cocktail offering even more so, and the atmosphere on a Friday and Saturday night is always buzzing. Even if you just swing by for a drink there is a great bar menu too, although I reckon you will find it hard to leave.

I love a great cocktail list, and it makes me even happier when the cocktails come to your table and are eventive yet still tasty,

Amazing food, cocktails and staff... we just keep going back for more.  Oh and takeaways - amazing,
