We drive from Albany to Silverdale Plant Barn because they are so friendly and full of knowledge.  The staff are always happy to spend time with you and answer your questions.  We have learnt a lot from the team here.  We always by our baby plants from here and they have always been really healthy and have survived being repotted.  They have some great gifts in the gift shop too.  April is super helpful if you need info on peppers!

    We went here to get some more plants for our swan plants, for the caterpillas. There was so much to see! And defintely have a look at the cafe. Great for any type of greenie!

      The end of daylight saving had us up early.......... Off to Orewa Beach for a BIG walk, then popped in to see what we can plant over Easter. Great selection and lots of inspiration. After the walk we decided to check out the menu at the cafe... ended up having breakfast. Really nice food, quick and friendly service and well done to the staff member who arrived at a table with a doggie bowl of water for a wee thirsty puppy. We will make sure we go back again. Keep up the good work Kings Cafe Silverdale.

        Love poppping in here - coffee with friends in the cafe, gifts galore, plants for the garden - the staff are helpful, the layout is fine - well done.
