Now that you’ve found yourself the perfect flat and you’ve managed to score yourself the biggest room, you are going to need some furniture and bric a brac to fill all of the space. Look no further then this Grey Lynn institution. Second hand stores are trendy, I’m talking hipster trendy. Jo’s is the most humble store around, filled to the brim with pre loved treasures, this is the old school garage sale at its best, 7 days a week. If you find something you are keen on don’t hesitate to buy, it won’t be there on your next visit, this stuff fly’s out the door!

Jo’s secondhand shop offers true bargains in the inner city, a rare thing these days. It’s the sort of place you will find the piece of crockery you need for finishing a set, a great vintage handbag or even a pair of old knitted swim trunks.

I stumbled upon this place on recommendation for a friend as I was looking for a nice wooden desk that I could prop my computer on. I immediately fell in love with this nice Mahogany six drawer one at a very good price. The guys at Jo's were a pleasure to deal with and even through in a very nice vintage looking desk lamp to complement my new desk. Cheers!

Josephine has been selling bric a brac, antiques, vintage, from this little gem of a shop for as long as I can remember.  Everyone in the know who has ever heard about Jo's shop has called in, found a little treasure and has been a regular devotee ever since lol. There is a little treasure here for everyone's tastes, but you will have to be super quick.  The stuff comes in and flies out the door.  Mid week is a great time to call in during the day and browse and it's not going to cost you the earth like some antique and bric a brac dealers.  You can get a little treasure, a beautiful little gem for as little as a $1 or $5.
