I know it is a big commercial entity but that doesn't mean they don't do it well and should get some recognition. They have spent some serious coin here to make your night sweet. Huge seats, good service, and just an easy place to head for a night out.

    For an ultimate 3D movie experience, visit the Event Cinemas at Queen Street. I've come here for many movies and truly enjoyed each one. The staff too are very friendly.

          Movie glamour while in the CBD, at the upper end of 'shopping' Queen street, but still midway up the main Queen street, in the Imax building. You have to get steps up or ride the cool as rocket elevator. Lots of levels and cinemas. Have seen many movies here. Imax is great- so big and clear and beautiful. 3D is fun and so is 2D if you don't think you need the extra dimension. Good staff, great movies.

            Go for a bowl at the new bowling lanes and let all that stress out :)

                Great service in a nice smaller more intimate environment before a movie. For what you pay is what you get. Although the windows could do with a good clean. Why not splash out every now and then. Nothing beats having an anti-pasto platter bought to you during your movie!!

                    I come here all the time for a couple of reasons. First, it is very convenient if you live/work/play in the City centre since you can walk here and not have to worry about finding a park. Second, they always have something showing on their 12 odd cinemas, which is awesome! Place is also pretty clean and picture/sound quality is top notch.
