Quite and entertaining. Bargain rates everyday. Amazing place to watch movies.

    I enjoy catching up on the latest flicks at Event Cinema.

      Love going here, it's fast, convenient and most of all they have the best movie popcorn i have tasted in NZ! 

        As far as I know this cinema has been around for quite a while, and has also been through several makeovers, both inside and out. Despite this however, it's still got the "same old" feel. The main entrance hasn't changed at all. They also still have the sweets bar, and the Timezone gaming area at the back. Staff here are friendly, and of course the prices here are the cheapest out of all other Event branches. It's not as popular as it used to be ever since a new cinemas opened in nearby Botany, but I quite like that, it means it doesn't get as rowdy as other cinemas when huge blockbusters are released. 

          Adequate but getting past its best. Staff are friendly and parking here a breeze. Seats are  pretty old and not that comfortable. I found the temperature in here a bit cold - it was 12C outside and it would have been nice if it had been warmed up a bit. We got a special at $9 each - if i was paying full price I would have gone up to the new Howick theater - much more comfortable.

              Cinema is alittle run down and definitely showing its age but it is nice to have few people nearby when watching a movie. Don't expect modern seats, think 1990's. Tickets can be very cheap during the week and the staff are generally friendly.

                Good for the locals but the cinema is now showing its age.  Would much rather head over to Botany or Sylvia Park
