Corey teaches my two young boys drums. He is so kind and patient. He teaches them in a simple way they can understand, they work hard and have fun. He is an amazing drummer in a number of great bands but the nicest guy you will ever meet. I totally recommend him as a drum teacher.

    Amazing drummer, motivational, inspiring, and attention to your personal detail. he fits the lessons to what i want to achieve so i get the most out of the lesson. very educational, highly recommend!

      The stuff he can do is amazing he has taught me lots of cool things he is really good at explaining how to do this and that. He also shows an example of some of the easy stuff and that when you get better and faster it will sound great. Zach

        I take these guys drum lesson and they are seriously good. not the strict type of teachers but not the ones that slack off at their job. No cutting/wasting time, meaning that you are always doing something productive and always learning something new.  

          We were looking for a new teacher for my daugther who'd been playing three years but looking for a bit more from her teacher. We settled on Corey and very happy we did, - very competent both practical and theory, high energy with contageous passion putting fun back into lessons and practice. Currently industry active so good access to knowledge regarding other things Ie performance, mixing, software, recording etc etc. Totally recommend.             Had my first lesson with Corey today and it was awesome. He knew straight away how to help me and what exercises I needed to be doing to better myself. He is very friendly and genuine and is just an all-round cool dude, very easy to get on with straight off the bat. To anyone aspiring to become a metal drummer or to anyone who in general want's to attain a greater knowledge of a different style of music, I would highly recommend Corey. To be honest, I would recommend him to anyone who wants to play the drums or anyone who can play the drums regardless of the fact that you listen to metal or not. Shot man \m/

              Best drum lessons available, period. Corey is the man. I've been drumming for over 14 years, and if I was to ever get some more advice about drumming techniques and practice routines, I'd definitely go to Corey. Great with all ages. Do yourseld a favour and get some lesson, you know you want to!

                I am getting lessons from corey he is a awsome drummer a great teacher he has a good teaching style you will learn a lot from corey in a short amount of time so you will be a awsome drummer in no time.

                  Corey was excellent. He was 5 minutes late but made upfor it by going for an extra 15 minutes. He was professional, he was relaxed; but above all he was a great teacher. I used to get lessons when I went to highschool for about 5 years, but sadly I had stop when I went to university. With that in mind, Corey managed to refresh me to about half of what I use to be able to do; in just one hour. I could really feel that he loved playing and teaching the drums and he was certainly a lot more paitient and relaxed than my previous teacher! Overall, I would easily reccommend Corey to anyone who's thinking about playing the drums. The only way the lessons could be better is if they were free, haha.

                    I am getting Drum lessons from Corey here at Drum City and he is killer! Very kind and to the point. He has a great lesson structure, really focuses on technique and shows the advantages and possibilities of it. He has very useful exercises which really improve your playing. He explains theory clearly and easily understandable. Corey is an epic drummer and i would highly recommend him to anyone!
