I love cafe 88 for their caramel square and their hot chocolates! That shot of chocolate is devine!

    Great array of home made goodies with option of street, cafe or backyard seating. This place is at the heart of the Mount.

      A delicious selection of naughty treats and good thick cut fries! Always a busy café so if you can fight your way to a seat you are sure to be surrounded with an electric atmosphere.

        Looking for a hearty traditional cafe breakfast then this is your spot. Food is superb and coffee isn’t that bad either. Recommend heading here early in the morning, as it can get quite busy around 10am. Large servings and some good vegetarian options.

                The first time I tried to visit Cafe 88 during the weekend I couldn't bear waiting half an hour for a table. This just made me even more determined to get into the hottest cafe in the Mount. Returning mid-week hardly changed the situation with the tables still stacked. Without blinking an eyelid the relaxed and friendly staff soon had our coffees and meals on the table. Fantastic food and it's hard to say no to one of their sweet treats in the cabinet, even after loosening my boardies after brunch!
