I've found myself becoming more familiar with BurgerFuel than I sometimes feel comfortable with. I think the thing that draws me in is that they do consistently good, flavoursome freshly cooked burgers, delivered in a pretty efficient way. I can almost always call on my way home from work and just drop in, grab and go. And they do good specials from time to time (checking in with foursquare and getting a free L&P being a fave), as well as keeping their menu evolving - so even if you eat the same thing every week it feels like there's new stuff coming around. Personally I seldom vary from the third pounder with cheese (a classic in my opinion), but I branch out occasionally for something chilli hot and painful. BurgerFuel Ponsonby outside table are a good place to watch the world go by as well.
I had given up on Burgerfuel for quite a long time. For a while I thought their quality had started to deteriorate and that becoming to successful was becoming their downfall. That was until I got convinced to try their Wagyu burger. I don't know what they put in that burger (it might just be the sauce), but I'm a Burgerful convert again.
