Ballantynes Department Store is located in Christchurch, New Zealand. We were closed by the February earthquake but are reopening on 29 October 2011.

Sit on Santa’s lap at Christchurch’s oldest department store. The Ballantynes Santa’s Grotto is the best place to get your photo taken with the man himself - the decorations are simply superb (a lot of time and effort have gone into them!)

    perfect for gifts - you can find big cosmetic brands, upper class clothes brands, and kitchenware!  good service too
