"This beach beauty is ALWAYS packed with people! Tried the salted caramel, marshmallow, choc ice cream design delight and it was really good. Different flavors were definitely having a party in your mouth. A bit on the pricy side but a little treat is every now and then doesn’t hurt. You’re worth it, as Loréal says! :)"

"One of my personal favorites! A great list of wine and beers on tap as well as offering a number of tasty meals from the kitchen, including pizza! For me if I’m just catching up with a friend or looking for a night out i always consider wrestling with the Elephant."
" This is a great place to get together with friends on a Saturday night, they have dancing inside and a nice patio for outside and even half of the patio is covered which is so great!!!! and its also no too loud outside so you can still have a conversation with friends and actually hear them! Great Place:)"

"Great massage, great prices, felt very relaxed and comfortable, Julia is lovely and welcoming. I highly recommend to everyone. I will definitely be going back. :)"
"I've been going to Julia for over a year now and her sugaring is amazing!! Much less pain compared to waxing and my thick hair gets thinner with every visit. Only Julia can make you feel completely comfortable and relaxed while pulling your hair out. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend her :)"

"As well as being one of the best eateries on the shore, it is so much easier getting a table at the Takapuna branch of Mexico. The food is excellent, a modern spin on Mexican cuisine, with so many tasty options on the regularly changing menu it is always hard choosing what to eat. Going with friends means you can sample more and it makes for a fun meal. The tacos are cheap and excellent, they do wonderful things with prawns, fish and squid and the salads are substantial. Today’s lunch was adobo prawns w/ black rice, burnt chipotle butter, grilled lime and the queso fundido w/ broccolini, black olive powder, corn bread. Perfection."

"Efficient service, great coffee and some interesting variations on classics. Nestled among the main shops of Titirangi village provides those seated outdoors a relaxing breakfast or lunch ambience."
"The location is half the reason why I like this place. Nestled in the cute titirangi village, with friendly staff and giant bowls of hot chocolate.. this place is worth a visit."

"This cafe has everything going for it. The coffee (Supreme brand, only the best for these cats) is poured to perfection and the food is so good. Also the staff are insanely nice. They even have a freaking caravan parked inside for your kids to play in - and Kohu Rd Ice Cream on site. If I lived in New Lynn I would go to this place every day. SO YUM. "
"If you’re a fan of quality ice cream chances are that you will have dipped your spoon into a tub of Kohu Road. Hand crafted in New Zealand from the finest ingredients it is a seriously tasty treat. Chances are you may have not been to the Kohu Road Cafe and Creamery in New Lynn. The small poky cafe is a great little spot to take the whole family. I indulged in a tasty homemade pie, smoked fish to be specific and my partner in crime had a classic steak and cheese. All reports were positive! Afterwards we shared a chocolate cupcake this was also worth writing home about. Recommended!"

"We went to Crystal Mountain specifically to see the animals. We pretty much had the park to ourselves - surprising for a Saturday - and happily wandered around, feeding and petting the llamas, deer, sheep etc. They were all were very happy to pose for photos with us, and we even got to see some newborn bunnies. If you’re even remotely an animal person this place is well worth a visit."
"Great place to grab a coffee and take the kids. You can pick up some really nice gifts for from the gift shop for the 'Mrs' or special lady in your life."
"This is a fascinating place to take the kids. With a petting zoo of farm animals to pat, feed and ride, a train and a mini rollercoaster to enjoy, and gold to be panned for, there is still enough time to spend admiring the incredible array of crystals in the shop - after a visit underground down the elevator! A wonderful combination of fun and learning!"

"My family and I came to Jam after hearing about it having opened just recently. My sister and I got a salad which had chicken, mango and kumara crisps. It was the best salad I’ve ever had! We have been back many times since because we can’t get enough of it. I also got an iced mochaccino but that was quite average (not as amazing as Roasted Addiqtion’s). I especially love where this cafe is situated, it is right next to the park they have redone which now has big deck chairs and a huge expanse for people to relax on which in turn sets the tone for the cafe as well being right next to it. The waitresses are extremely friendly here even when I am being annoying and asking how long my salad is going to be. Great place."

"Annie Oxborough is back at The Department Store and her shop is better than ever. There is a large selection of macrame plant hangers and some great exotic succulents and indoor plants to green up your home. She also has some a beautiful selection of planters and spectacular terrariums to choose from."
"Love popping in here! Always something lovely to look at (and buy on occasion when I feel like a treat). Fabulous range of designers and pretty things to discover."
"Love love love The Dressing Room on the first floor of The Department Store, tucked next to Lucy and the Powder Room. Absolutely brimming with divine lingerie by NZ labels like Ingrid Starnes, Kate Sylvester, Miss Crabb and Lonely by Lonely Hearts. Browsing through the racks is a totally dreamy experience - beautiful cuts, colours and trims."
