Easily one of the best dining experiences in New Zealand. Truly world-class. Exclusive without being pretentious and deliciously inventive with superbly crafted meals using quality ingredients and a whole lot of flair. I tried the tasting menu, which I am sure changes often, so I cannot nominate a favourite. Every aspect was just sooooo good. See you soon!
This is one Restaurant I am hoping to revisit soon! We tried their degustation menu and only if I could justify how nice it was in words. It's pure food science. The texture, blend, sauces - everything makes it the best treat you can offer to your pallete and your special one! This is definitely the best in NZ.
Certainly one of the best restaurants in the country, The Grove offers sophisticated dining with understated elegance. Chef Benjamin Bayly has worked in some of the best Michelin-starred restaurants in London and France, and the experience shows. The wine list is first class and the staff are all very knowledgable - don't hesitate to ask for a recommendation, or go for the Chef's Tasting Menu with wine matching for the ultimate experience.
By far one of my favorite restaurants in Auckland. Great as a date night or a group of friends. Service is always good, wine list has both local and international options, food is beautifully served and the flavours are inspirational. If you like to cook this is a great place to go and then experiment with new tastes.
