Quick and delicious Japanese! My go-to for a night that I can NOT be bothered cooking.

    Renkon is one of my all time favourites places to go for a cheap eat! The karaage chicken is the best!

            Generous portions, Good quick takeway meals or dine in and eat at Mea Culpa bar next door

              Amazing food in a hurry, we love the miso katsu chicken and grabbing a spicy soup to go.

                  It took me a year of living in Auckland to discover Renkon and I never looked back. For $11.50 you get a really decent sized meal and everything on the menu is delicious - I recommend the salmon (or tofu) teriyaki and the chicken sauce-katsu on rice. You can sit at Mea Culpa next door and they'll bring your meal over to you - sit outside in summer. 

                    Always special tasty hot well presented dishes. Love the ponsonby store, seats outside with heater and overlooking ponsonby road. I love the salmon terijaki and can't get enough. The fresh veg and the rice is delicious. Free green tea !!!  $11.50 for every bowl and starters for $5 - can't complain - only smile. Wish I could go every week!!
