Part of Auckland's history for 100 years, the Parnell Baths are a summer institution. The saltwater pool (the largest in New Zealand!) enjoys a spectacular outlook across Judges Bay and beyond over Tamaki Drive. For these reasons and the wildly fun water fountain, the baths continues to be a true family favourite during the warmer months.

There's also a gym on site and at just $6.30 per person for a swim, it's really good value for money. Plus where else do you get retro deck chairs as cute as those that line the sides of this historic swimming pool.

Nice place to escape for a soak in a spa on a cold day.

Whether you're wanting to swim laps in the salt water pool, have fun with the kids in the aqua playground or kick back and relax in a spa Parnell Baths have all boxes ticked. And entry fees as low as $4.20 for children ($2.50 for under-5s) and $6.30 for adults make it an affordable place to take the whole family.

Good review :)

Spent the majority of a scuba diving course at this pool- doing theory in the bottom floor classroom area and using the gear found here. Unfortunately was unable to swim here. Good facility though- outdoor, lanes- pretty easy to find, down a long road from the main road. Parking available easily.

My favourite place in Auckland!

Great photo :)

Love the Parnell Baths - both for its modernist good looks and also the great range of pools there. Ranging from the really hot adult spa to the kids water playground to the 50m long solar-heated salt water pool - it has something for everyone. Great for both a refreshing swim or a relaxing afternoon.

Sounds nice :)

Great place for families and all ages. wide range of pools.... Heated pool with cool kids play area, cold water pool with lap lanes, family spa pools and an adults only spa. Very reasonable price for all of the above. Pools are only open during certain periods of the year ie. not  in winter.
