Huge store that always seems to have an abundance of stock and sizes!

Both my girls needed school shoes but I didn't want to spend the earth.  Number one has excellent value and so many options to choose from.  I have bought running shoes for noth my kids here last year and they lasted well. Today we got black canvas shoes for school.  $12 each.. wow now thats great value.  Ok so they wont last forever but hey I've found with kids and school not many (even the expensive leather ones) last that well.

Well if Cinders is still looking for her shoe, Number One is a great place to find one, cheap as chips although I'm not sure she'd find one made of glass. I'm not Imelda by any means, but Number One has been good for sandals, school shoes (in the past) and gumboots. Some have worn better than others. Service is great, staff helpful and friendly. When a pair of shoes I bought malfunctioned, I was refunded the full price which was great, and the staff were particularly helpful when I'd stepped in armed for defence. I'm now the fond owner of a pair of startling, well priced, red gumboots. I can wiggle my toes and still feel the change jingling in my pockets from the money I've saved. Thanks Number One, New Lynn!

This store has Great fashionable shoes at ecstatic prices! (; They have all the latest trends

What a variety of shoes at the number 1 shoe bar

Why is it kids all need new shoes at once.  Last week I discovered much to my horror that my kids needed shoes..not just one pair but  running shoes for the cross country, school shoes for winter, jandles cause we always need jandles and a dog had chewed them last week, and school sandles for the older one because the strap had snapped. OMG! Well I usually prefer to buy top label  quality leather products but at prices these days and the speed kids go through them that plan is well out the door. I bought cool coloured jandles x2 , roman leather school sandles x1, black school shoes x1 and a good looking pair of running shoes for my hope for the Olympics ( I mean school cross country) and it all only cost me $77.00.  No bull. Down to earth shoes at down to earth prices.   A couple of days later I went back and got me some tone-up walking shoes.  Decided why pay $269 for labelled ones when I dont plan to be seen in them anyway.  LOVE THEM to bits!! (ssshhh $59.95)
