My friends have raved about Mondial for months and every time they've invited me, I've either been too busy to join in or away. That is, until recently when a friend and I popped in there one Friday night for a wine and tapas. And now I'm hooked. It's quite frankly, just brilliant. The little courtyard filled with fairy lights at the back of the bar makes for a perfect place to get down The atmosphere is buzzing and the wine and tapas are divine. I especially love the prawns with garlic and chilli. What's more, the staff are so friendly and always laughing as it's obvious that the punters are locals and returning ones at that. Always great, always a winner. Love it.
If you are looking for a great place to chill with some nibbles on the side you will hard placed to beat. We popped in recently and was impressed by the friendly efficient staff who helped with our choices. Famed for its tapas, there is huge choice from prawns, calamari, meatballs, lamb skewers, veggie platters and a whole lot more. You can order as many or as few as you want. They have a great wine list with a good mix of international and New Zealand Wines plus some great dessert wines. Remember they are closed on Mondays
