Molten is a neighbourhood eatery comprised of an intimate 35 seat Restaurant, Wine Bar, Courtyard, Private Dining Room, and Private Lounge, encapsulated within two adjoining heritage buildings dating from the 1850’s.
Using the modern European bistro as a reference point, Molten’s menu celebrates produce sourced directly from our passionate growers, farmers and fishermen. Our menu is dynamic, a living document that reflects the changing seasons and our own inspirations.

Had an enjoyable date night here at Moltens Wine Bar (nxt to their famous restaurant). Such a beautiful atmosphere, smooth music and dim lighting for a special occasion! We had a range of tapas incl Their Angus Steak Tartare (its raw but of course herb-marinated with horse radish inside) it came with some crispy bread slices and was amazing! The Salt and pepper calamari was devine and we finished off with the Oysters Kilpatprick (they were incredible)! With an ever so slight dropping of worstechire, crispy tiny bacon bits, herbs and (being big hunter gatherers of our very own oysters) we asked what the 'slight crunch' was and told shallotts WOAH! thanks for the tip Molten! So look forward to returning here! and look forward to checking out the restaurant next door. (Pork belly sounds devine)!
I feel spoilt having this jewel just up the road. Excellent small plates ro share at a very reasonable price, great cocktails and slick but warm service . The courtyard, shared with Molten restaurant nextdoor, is fragrant with star jasmine and speckled with fairy lights.so cute.try everything on the menu, especially the hand cut fries with truffle mayo, and ma's dutch krokettes.
This place is the sister to Molten Restaurant (next door) and like the name suggests, it's a watering hole. The ambient lighting and slightly old world decor makes for a lovely intimate setting , perfect for a date night! Then there is the nice little courtyard for all you dirty smokers. Friendly bar staff too. Prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is amazing!.
