Seafood linguine is one of those things which I'll order anytime I see it on a menu. Manuka does it perfectly - full of flavour, a decent portion, beautifully presented. Everything else I've had has been lovely as well - their pizzas have interesting toppings (although the salmon/cream cheese/capers one doesn't have enough salmon) and the dessert menu is great. All in all it's a lovely place. My only complaint is that the fluffy little brown sparrows from the street outside sometimes fly into the restaurant. Usually I'd be down with that, but the problem is that there are fabric covered lamps hanging over the tables where you eat. The birds naturally choose to perch up there, and when birds are perched somewhere for a while...  it means I have to keep an eye out while eating in case the birds defile my food :P I have actually had a bit of something nasty fall on the table next to me - if I hadn't been watching at the time it could have ended up in my pasta.  I'd suggest that the owners choose new lampshades - the current ones are beautiful but too easy for birds to perch on. I'll continue going to Manuka anyway, because it's a fantastic place and it's easy to keep an eye out for the birds - but I do think it would be a good idea to discourage them.

I had the pene pistachio with chicken and mushroom...and let me tell you honey, IT WAS FABULOUS. The food was great, the whole restaurant was well done and very easy to ease into. The service was great and the people there are very friendly. I tend to speak very enthusiastically, and one of the employees commented on my enthusiastic way of speaking, which just further increased my love for this place.  Definitely a recommended place, every time my boyfriend and I are hungry, we crave the pene pistachio (we both had the same thing there). Amazing, so stop reading reviews and go visit the place!

I'm about to move to Devonport and so will probably pop in here, this sounds stunning... thanks for sharing! :)

This place was a true find! Great service, quick and friendly! And truly good food!! Creme brûlée was a must have!! :) yum

We always stop at the Manuka when ever we are in Devonport. They do an amazing baked fish and have a great selection of wines. The pizza is a personal favourite amongst the family too.
