Additional Information
Been driving past this place on Dominion Road for ages and finally stopped in to check it out and glad I did, Was delicious! I had the pork on rice and was highly impressed and impressed at the great/cheap prices too!! Nice and clean and the staff speak good english and really happy to help and recommend a good dish. A great place for people to go who are slightly scared of trying new asian places!
The restaurant itself is definately on the "cheap but cheerful" side in terms of decorating but that does not diminish the food. Tea is served promptly and meals also have alway arrived in a timely manner. I have had the black bean beef(delicious) and also shared an entree platter the second time I went- this is huge and everything on it tastes great! Would definitely reccomend!
we found this place 17 years ago in its old location on dominion road we moved north a few years later but still make a return every few months to get some food i reccomend the duck in Taro the sizzling pork and veggies this place is NOT fine dinning the tables and chairs plastic but close your eyes and you could be in china give them a try i bet youll be back very soon for a second serving
This place is another institution in terms of Chinese food. Dominion Road is now a real China Town chocka filled with various Chinese restaurants. But long before that there was Love A Duck. Like the name says, they do specialise in roasted duck and chicken. But there's also a plethora of classic Chinese dishes to choose from. Their Tofu Casseroles are great and really warm you up on a winters day. The only downside is I think they tend to use a bit of MSG in their dishes.
