Love the environment, great food and of course...the mango lassi!

    I really love Indian food and have tried many Indian restaurants in many cities. This is my favourite. Everything tastes amazing, and the prices are reasonable too. If you are staying at the Waldorf Celestion, don't forget to show them your key card and get 10% off (I forgot to do this). I deducted half a star because some of their posters promote woo-woo beliefs about the health effects of spices.

      I've a lot of Indian in the US, Australia, and here in Auckland. Out of every place I've been, this really is my favourite. They have amazing Naan and the chicken tikka masala is to die for. The only mild complaint is the service is not  fast, but they are very nice and good servers.

        I first tried Little India as a student in Dunedin and was stoked to see they had a restaurant in Auckland as well. The food is excellent no matter which one you go to and the staff all appear well trained. Takeaways are available and a good option on a busy night if you haven't booked (plus curries always taste better the next day!). Well worth a visit with a group of friends - it serves as a good catch up place for some of my classmates from University.
