We had our wedding at Elevation and would have to say we were totally blown away by the service and food here. The staff were friendly and the manager Dylan was super accommodating with every single one of my requests. It was relaxed and easy right from the start and I would like to thank him for that. The Food was delicious, the steak perfect and the scallops were divine!! Desert was just as special. FREE venue hire and they even did all the decorations for us. Dylan even suggested a celebrant for us, her name was Norma and she was amazing, so lovely and relaxed as well. Thank you ELEVATION for making our magical day so special :)

This is a gorgeous concept for a restaurant/cafe. Look across to Auckland city at night while sharing some deliciously rich chocolate cake.

Held me 21st Birthday there. Everyone LOVED the food and unfortunately couldn't see the amazing view as it was foggy that day. However, I go for lunch and dinner at times when it's sunny and the view is breath taking. Better than pictures you see, you need to go and see it in real life. Amazing.! Thanks to the management team for helping me host my party. A++

Very lovely location, a must go for the beautiful view :) oh and do check if when you want to dine there, is open or not.

Pro: Great view Con: Coffee not very good If you go out to Piha, it's definitely worth stopping there just to take in the stunning view. We just had some coffee, which was a bit more expensive but also unusually large. Unfortunately the flavour of the coffee wasn't convincing.

A bit pricey, but worth it for the wonderful view and food. It was lovely to stop here on the way back to Auckland from Karekare beach. If you're on a budget, the pizza is awesome and is enough for two people, but costs the same as a single main dish. Some of the service was a bit funny (our food was really fast but coffee took a long time!) but overall a great experience.

This restaurant/cafe is absolutely stunning. It has a friendly cafe feel but with restaurant style service and food. With amazing views over Auckland it is worth a visit! The staff are friendly, the food is great and you honestly can't beat the view. It has an intimate atmosphere but in an open, lovely venue. Whether visiting on a romantic date, lunching with friends or celebrating a special event it is worth the drive. We were lucky to sit outside on the deck and although a little windy it was sheltered and we enjoyed the beautiful sunshine.

Service: 10/10. I've been to restaurants which are considered to be the ''best in Auckland''. Service was sh*t. The service at Elevation is to the point, perfect, sincere. The second best restaurant I've been too in my life, and I've traveled the world. You couldn't get service as spot on as this.  Food: 10/10. Entrees? massive. Almost the size of a pizza. Thank god my partner and I decided to share one! We ordered the bread. For mains, I had the beef. The food was lovely, nicely done, cooked superbly, flavors complemented each other, and the meals were very large. If meal size is important to you, then your value for money is good here. Price: What do you expect? the food is massive, and nicely cooked, the service is great, the views are spectacular. So the price is going to be a bit more than the Burger King down the road. It isn't that much more expensive than an ordinary restaurant. For what the food is worth, the meals are cheap. My main was $26 I think. Atmosphere:  Lovely, magical, quiet and peaceful. You could hear yourself think, enjoy a conversation with your partner or family. Other "good" restaurants are so noisy, you have to say "WHAT? WHAT? WHAT?....".  This is the type of place you would take someone on a first date, an anniversary or a special evening out. Perhaps even a wedding. It's so beautiful and romantic. If you want a bit of 'posh' in your life, come here. If you want 'fake' 'common' then go to the viaduct harbour.  I have been here 3 times now, twice for lunch and once for dinner with my partner. He went home extremely satisfied with our meals. the waiter was lovely and knew what he was talking about, such a happy and funny bloke. I told him I would write a review for him. He really put effort into our order, he remembered us and didn't have to check the 'reservation book'. He built a good friendly relationship with us, and now we will go back. I said ''see you next time'.  What to wear: Smart casual. If jeans, nice top or shirt. Don't go in your dressing gown that's for sure. Don't overly 'do it' if it's not a special occasion.  Decide to come here next time, you can see everything, all over Auckland.

Wow that's great, I'll be going back there. We went a few years ago and it was in need of a shake-up. Looks like that's happened.

The food and service has improved so much since the new owners have taken the reigns. During winter time it's great to stretch out in front of the fire, otherwise the views are something else. Then there is the food. Reasonably priced, the menu caters for everyone's varied tastes and moods. Turn up for a pizza and a beer or something more tasty from their mains menu. Last time I had the rack of lamb it was melt in your mouth delicious.  Only giving you 4.5 stars because you always need something to shoot for and innovate.

It's not pretending to be anything that it's not - location, location, location. An incredible deck overlooking the city, great place for a cool beer with friends. Relaxed service and the roast veggie salad is incredible! Shoot some pool, play some chess, be here whatever the weather if you're in this neck of the woods.
