Archie's Restaurant & Pizzeria

If you love salt you'll go crazy for Archie's Alla Capricciosa Pizza. Salami, olives, capsicum, anchovy, tomato, mozzarella and oregano..... Oh my.... Drooling now.

Came here for lunch on a sunny Friday afternoon. Walked past this restaurant a few times but never realized how busy it was until deciding to come here for lunch.Service - The place was fully seated and yet, the service was impeccable. Friendly service and very polite. Was very efficient. Food - The pizza was wood-fired pizzas and we ordered prosciutto x1 and a chicken/pesto pizza. It was the lunch special for $14. The size was good and definitely filled my appetite. Tastes wise - very light on taste and could have stronger taste on the prosciutto pizza. The pesto pizza was much better with stronger tastes. The base was thin but it is well done. Could have slightly more filling on the prosciutto pizza and again, the pesto pizza was nicely filled.Value - For lunch special, it was definitely worth it. Not sure about their regular prices but keen for lunch again.Atmosphere - Busy but not too noisy. If you want a quiet place, this is definitely not it.Overall - Decent pizza place in town but not the "best" pizza place I have tried.

Had another lovely family birthday dinner at Archies last night.  Always consistantly good food and service, this has definitely become a favourite of ours and is enjoyed by everyone from kids to grandparents.  Really love how they give the kids some pizza dough to play with while they wait for their food, keeps them really busy and happy, brilliant!

Recommended here by a friend, had a lunch special date with girlfriends. Split several meals up. Great portions, good value for money. Was delicious. Became quite busy as the lunch hour went on. Definitely a good sign. Would love to come visit again and try the other options for pizza and pasta. Great service. Winner all round

The absolute perfect place for lunch! Archie's is honestly one of my most loved and favourite places to go during lunch hour. Lovely, friendly, cute and cozy vibe with amazing food! Both their pizza/ pasta is gorgeous and I particularly recommend their Fettucine Polo - it has the perfect amount of richness!

i really love Archies. Everything I have tried on the menu(pizza, steak, risotto, seafood salad, beef salad, pasta!) has been very satisfying. It is also a nice area to eat as there is a fountain and other outdoor seated restaurants nearby, which adds to the European feel. The best time to go is definately at lunch time as there is a $14 special(used to be $12) in which you can choose from a selection of the best dishes for a quick and tasteful lunch in the sun.

Archie’s is consistently good - they have a really awesome process so you get fast service in every way - water when you get seated and quick order taking and food delivery. They have a very good $14 lunch special. Some good outdoor seating in summer.
