"Love everything French? Yes! Well I like your style. There is nothing more enjoyable on a Saturday or Sunday morning than to purchase freshly baked aromatic bread, a serving of Paella (which doesn’t always make it all the way home!), a selection a delicious French cheeses from the La Cigale Fromagerie and a number of other fabulous products and produce which make their way into your market bag. Treat yourself to this French Market place!"
"Anything that involves cheese is good. When there is cheese on a date this is super good. These markets are amazing, there’s fresh food from sausages, vegetables, a special market café, bread…. everything that your average food addict loves. For me, as a carb lover, this place is heaven. It’s also nice to come here to pretend you are classy and swanky when really you are hungover from Friday or Saturday night antics and need to get some fresh air. Best not to be hungover for your market date though…. These markets are on Saturday and Sunday mornings so you’ve got enough time during the week to think up an elaborate date plan for after the markets to extend the amazingness of said date."

"Yummy food and bevvys in the evening sun whilst browsing the stands for cool treasures, and catch a flick on the silo Friday nights in summer."
136-138 Ponsonby Road, Ponsonby, Auckland 1010
" Definitely worth a visit and with an hour's free parking out the back, it was a pleasant change from hunting for a park on Ponsonby Road. Last visit we only sampled the icecream (from one of the many little stalls that are scattered everywhere). It was delicious and there was such a range of interesting eateries tucked away at the back, we'll definitely return. I have it on good authority that the Pizza place is outstanding. "

"There’s nothing better than rolling out of bed on a Saturday and heading up to the market. It’s your one-stop-shop for fresh fruits and veges, but it’s also home to delicious danishes and pastries and the creamiest, most delicious feta cheese I’ve ever had. Everyone is super friendly and there are Eftpos machines there so you don’t have to worry about getting cash out before going. A Saturday morning must!"
"Great food, great produce and a great atmosphere. Perfect location for a little extra shopping activity afterwards as well."

"If you're at a loss for something to do during the weekend why not head down to Britomart and check out this ever evolving city precinct. It's pretty spot on a sunny day and there is a farmers market to browse on a Saturday morning with plenty of cafes to keep you fed and watered. I am keen to try The Store and Milse and definitely want to have another meal at Ortolana. The shopping is excellent with Zambesi, Kate Sylvester, World, Karen Walker and Black Box rubbing shoulders and the Atrium on Takutai has MAC, Kiehl's, Jo Malone and L'Occitane for makeup, body and scents. If you don't fancy some shopping you can while away and hour in the sun on the grass by the fountain - perhaps with a coffee from one of the excellent cafes in the area."

" Love this new market. I very much enjoyed a wander round it present shopping one weekend. An unexpected but very much enjoyed surprise as I wandered through Kingsland. A great selection of vintage clothes and bric-a-bac with some crafty stuff mixed in. I had not intended to buy anything for myself but came away with a set of mustard coloured and beautifully shaped retro glasses in which I enjoyed a well-deserved brew after all my walking that day. I also scored a super cheap $10 pleated turquoise polka dot skirt for my friends turquoise themed tea party the following weekend. I look forward to return trips. Not that most places are cash only, but there is a cash machine just up the road near the pharmacy. There are also toilets where sellers will let you try on any clothes before purchasing. An abundance of great cafes awaits for post shopping refreshments afterwards too."

"This market is great for baby clothes. Some really good quality New Zealand brands and plenty to choose from. There were pony rides on offer out front the day we went which was a great bonus for entertaining the little ones."

"Was taken here for the first time as a surprise by my wonderful boyfriend and ended up having the most amazing breakfast...mini dutch pancakes, cover in hot custard and berry coulis...I almost cried! It is tiny but I would say come here with an empty tummy and a full wallet. We easily spent $50 ( we went a little crazy) stocking up not only on fresh fruit and vege but many tasty treats! Bread, pastries, dips, cheeses and meats. Just jump on a train and when you get out of the station, this market is waiting to greet you! To the lovely dutch pancake guy, you are totally my new best friend...you need to check out his pancakes when you go! My lovely picture is of a custard and cranberry pastry, sold to me by a very funny French man."
"My new favourite stop on Saturday mornings! Mini Dutch pancakes, fresh juice, live music, what more can you ask for on a Saturday morning!"

"this is a more unusual venue to hold your meetings/conferences but is just great. The building itself os unique and lovely. Staff are very helpful and happy to give you lots of flexibility regarding arrangements for your conferencing which is great to have. Recommend this as a alternative venue for your corporate dos!"
9 Vulcan Lane, Auckland Central, Auckland 1010
" There is some seriously awesome vintage here. On my last visit I picked up an amazing cream mohair sweater that had bronze leather leaf shaped appliqués all over the neckline and shoulders. Incredible. As well as a full length tangerine Lacoste dress, a Celine wool blazer with gold buttons, a vintage el jay Dior gown. Quite a haul. I think I spent maybe $100 all up. There are the coolest handicrafts, and you can wander around, wine in hand looking. If only the kitchen could make you one of their quite good pizzas while you’re there! The kitchen doesn’t open til 6 or so on Saturdays and I would come here for lunch on the weekend if they were. :)"
