Welcome to your village butchery. We pride ourselves on being a genuine old fashioned butchery, established since 1923. Larry and Des have owned and operated Howick Village Butchery since the 1980's and arguably produce the "BEST" smallgoods available in East Auckland. The butchery is world famous in Howick, serving up scrumptious bacon, ham, sausages and more.

Fantastic friendly service combined with excellent quality meat at a good price. My young boys love visiting the shop, especially as they usually manage to get a slice of luncheon meat to keep them busy (and quiet...ish) whilst I'm buying the food. The sausages from here are real sausages that taste the best - they are a favourite at my house.

    Fantastic fresh meat and sausages. We have been coming here for years and the meat is so much better than the grey stuff you get at the supermarket

      Larry and Des sure know their meats.  Not only the best New Zealand Beef and Lamb they have sausages, pies, pasties and of course on my shopping list today Black Pudding. Black Pudding is an acquired taste and Herrington's is the best, fat, chubby and spicy, just how Hubby likes it, thankfully I only have to go to Howick to buy.
