" Close your eyes - DREAM - envisage how you would like your "older years" to be. A high spec home, beautifully maintained parklike gardens, nice friendly people, fun and safety. Heaps of brain and body activities, and always a social occasion to look forward to. Then this is the place to be. Negatives!!! - well we can't think of one. Pete & Suzie Hasselman."
" We have over 30 activities of which most of us particiipate in at least them. We put concerts on. We also raise money for out Social Club to get entertainers in to entertain us. Currently we are raising funds to send our choir to Wellington next year to compete against other choirs in New Zealand. We have competitions amongst ourselves and with other villages. Bruce and management are very generous and donate monies towards these competitions. Bruce the manager holds Siorees with nibbles and wine, to make sure we all mix and mingle. This is a wonderful place to live and I would never want to move anywhere else."

"White n Brite is fantastic. A wonderful, chilled experience. Love the non clinical environment. Reclining chair, CD's and homely feeling. Worth the trip from central Auckland. The prices are incredibly reasonable. I received the same procedure as I got from a dentist but less than a third of the price. Very hygienic, professional, relaxed and friendly service. Thanks."

" Clevedon is so lucky to have so many top practitioners. Helen and Debby complement each other with their slightly different styles of Osteopathy. Totally gentle and I love the way they tell you all about what they are doing and why they are doing it. And Dave is a top Physio - great for sports injuries and all kinds of rehab. I feel totally safe doing Pilates with Dave as the class is small and he checks you all the time so you know you're not going to do yourself an injury. Roxy is reknowned for her massages relieving tight muscles or a bit of pampering. Or if you prefer an Aromatherapy treatment, then Sue can provide just the right essential oil for you. Christine the Naturopath and Lindsay the Homeopath complement each other by providing the kind of treament you prefer. And Racheal provides herbal medicine and acupunture specialising in women's health and furtility issues. The Personal Trainers with the fitness studio enable you to reach your training and fitness goals. And if you want some direction for your career or personal life, life coach Patti can ask all the right questions to set your path straight. All practitioners care about your healing and wellbeing."

" This is the first Rebel store I'd ever been to and what an experience it was! There was a range of sporting clothes and equipment like nothing I'd ever seen before. Who knew there were so many different sorts of pool cue? I've since been back regularly as I worked my way through a series of racquets, bats and weights which I still use (not as often as I should) today! "

"If like me you have never been to a podiatrist and are under the illusion they just take care of little old ladies bunions and corns you are in for a big surprise. My feet and legs under go physical abuse on a daily basis as I take part in several different sports - running, triathlons and Zumba. My poor feet take the brunt of it! So on the advice of my daughter and armed with my favourite running shoes I visited Aaron at Foot Mechanics. Entering Foot Mechanics you’ll see it has a contemporary fit out, which is clean, fresh, inviting and relaxing. Visiting Foot Mechanics for the first time you will need to fill in a consultation form before your assessment gets underway. Aaron’s first job was a smelly one! He had to inspect my shoes to see the hidden clues on the soles and innersoles. I then underwent two tests today, a gait analysis using video equipment, which involved me walking up in down in front of the camera and the plantar pressure measurement test to see the downward force from my feet as I walked, both were totally pain free. Time to sit down and hear the verdict. We went through the video footage showing the way I was walking, with Aaron pointing out little things to watch out for and improve on, so far not to bad for me, then on to my plantar results. On the computer screen in front of me there they were, my feet in glorious technicolour except for my toes, which were lacking in definition and some of them were missing. The cause of my missing toes was my Lazy Big Toes! With the use of a skeletal foot Aaron demonstrated what was happening to my big toes and reassured me with the help a few exercise, wearing the correct foot wear they’d be back performing in no time. With exercise’s and shoe recommendations in hand my visit was over. I will definitely be back again and will make sure that I make my appointment well in advance. Amongst the Foot Mechanic clients are the All Black, it’s more important to get their podiatry needs covered they’ve got a World Cup to win!"
