Everyone knows that if you buy something from Briscoes when they aren’t having a sale then you probably have a screw loose. If you have been doing this, my advice would be t rethink your shopping experience and head there during a "sale". You won’t get over how cheap things are, in fact when I moved houses recently I just went to a Briscoes sale and got everything I needed for half of my budget. Score!
This is a smaller Briscoes and not quite so modern looking as most of them. However, it's advantage over other stores is that they sell "outlet" items. So, you can often find items at reduced prices. Being a bit more crowded than others, you can sometimes wait in a queue a while if it's busy. It's a convenient location to get to, in the middle of a neighbourhood street, with parking just for the store.
This is a slightly more compact store than most Briscoes, but it still carries a good range of stock. We had to return a faulty suitcase today that we brought almost a year ago, and were really amazed at how pleasant the service was. We turned up, slightly expecting it to be a bit of an ordeal, but it really wasn't. We were served by Morgan who was all smiles, and very friendly. It was a quick process, and we just went and chose another suitcase, which they swapped straight out for us.
This is in a good location with lots of parking. The store is quite large and has a lot of items to choose from. Staff seems to be really nice and helpful. If you can't find something just ask one of the staff and they are usually very good at helping people :)
Briscoes is competitively priced and has some great homeware brands. They have amazing sales - so it's well worth waiting for one. We got all the basics when we set up a new house here for a fraction of the price you might pay elsewhere.
I love all briscoes stores, but I find with this one the downside is the parking! They always have a sale on so it is always possible to walk away from the store thinking gee what a great edal I just got! I find it quite hard to find a store assistant to help me on busy days though!
Great store, I just hate the parking - even worse on a rainy day. Good specials and great space in store to shop - not falling over other customers. Good selection of cooking and bedding - dinner wear is awesome as well. Staff are nice, helpful - can be struggle to find one as most are at counter these days and their seems less staff on the shop floor.
