"Great service and top quality results. Kaajal knows how to style my hair the way I want it and leaves my face glowing after her soothing facial. Since visiting her for the first time last year, I have kept going back as a loyal customer. The results reflect on her friendly and kind nature. She also gives great advice! Thanks again Kaajal for all your hard work, see you soon :) From Kiran"
"I go there to do my eyebrows. She does it very nicely and without hurting. Kajal is a very friendly and accommodating hostess. I absolutely love her service. The rates are also fantastic. I am really glad to have discovered this salon in Auckland."
"My Experience with Kajal is indescribable, my comments cannot fully describe her humbleness because I have so much to tell, but to make this simple I’ll tell it in a nutshell. Kajal comes from India, it’s the country I hold very near and dear to my heart, I love it. Kajal has brought her talent to New Zealand and by doing so, she’s make’s woman like you and me even more beautiful. Kajal’s artistic way of brow threading is at an exceptional standard and it doesn’t hurt at all, its painless. Kajal has the magic touch of framing the eyebrows to complement a client’s face. Her method is cost effective and suits everyone’s budget. The experience in Kajal’s parlour resembles a 5 star spa. Kajal’s patience, dedication and humility in helping each client achieve the best results in their skin, nails and hair. I encourage everyone to come and experience the blissful atmosphere in Kajal’s beauty parlour, it is an unforgettable experience. Kajal has excellent customer service which will leave you coming back for more. Regards Vani Anop May god bless you, and may your business grow in New Zealand you deserve it. I hope that you will be recognized for the outstanding beautician that you are. Keep up the good work Kajal."

"If you’re getting into the Christmas spirit and need decorations for your house, Rapt always has a great variety to choose from. Their Snow White and the Seven Dwarves Christmas tree ornaments are adorable, and if you’re running out of time for buying gifts, their unique decorations and tasty chocolates make great presents."

"Rock climbing was always one of those extreme sports that I imagined myself being awesome at. Over time I have come to realise that this is probably not going to be the case. Putting my dreams of becoming an extreme athlete aside I have found comfort in the fact that I can head to Extreme Edge, hire a harness and push my limits on the wall. This place is awesome, the staff are friendly, there is always a good atmosphere and the walls are challenging. If you want an all over body workout while pushing yourself mentally then rock climbing is for you. This was the first indoor climbing place I had been to and none of the others have ever come close to being as memorable. Bit of a tip: wear comfortable pants and a top that won’t ride up - you don’t want to be hanging mid air with a wedgie when you are trying to impress a girl."

"This April, give the gift of flowers to those you love the most. Buy a bouquet valued at over $75 and your loved one will receive a packet of cute chicken cookies with their flowers. What a treat (for the eyes and the stomach)! Order online at www.wildpoppies.co.nz."
"Finally.... A bouquet of flowers from Wild Poppies Florist, Great North Road. The girls there will talk you through it and help you come up with something befitting your special night. If you don't get some after that then you must be in a coma!"
" Right from the get go, my Wild Poppy experience was a positive one. The website is beautiful, modern and easy to work. They sent an order confirmation which they followed with an update email of when my rose would be delivered. The rose was delivered within the time stated, was packaged beautifully and the rose was a great quality rose! Wild Poppies offered the cheapest single rose price by at least $20. Highly recommended"

"I have their garlic and asian flavoured infused oils. They are very nice for cooking my veges and give them a nice flavour."
" We ordered one each of the garlic and lemon infused rice bran oils using Localist tokens, never having tasted them before. It was love at first bite! The garlic is by far our favourite of the two, with endless possibilities for use. Lamb chops, chicken stir-fry, salads.... hot or cold.... they're so versatile. I find they are great for drizzling the tiniest amount over freshly cooked pasta for our young toddler to give it some taste and stop it getting gluggy. The flavours are clear and defined, but not overpowering. While the actual Prenzel shop is a bit of a drive from where we are, we'll definitely be using their website when Christmas rolls around. The bottles are an artform in themselves and I can see many gifts being purchased from here :)"

"Manukau City's public art gallery, Te Tuhi Centre for the Arts, is a huge space that includes multiple shows and a great café. It plays host to changing exhibitions, classes, school holiday programmes and more."
"It is our local Public Art Gallery. A wee gem hidden away in Pakuranga. They have amazing international and national artists showing there, right at our doorstep. It’s a wonderful place to visit. It also has easy parking and great coffee."
"Te Tuhi is a space that has hosted an amazing array of contemporary exhibitions but still manages to distance itself from the swanky art vibe which can be off putting to the wider community. Not only is their main gallery space accessible to the general public but they pride themselves in creating a space which encourages community participation and engagement. This is a community space with heart and soul, this is what a centre for the arts is all about."
