Art in the Dark is a popular community art show at Western Park
Thousands have turned out for the opening night of the popular Localist co-sponsored Art in the Dark at Ponsonby's Western Park.
The community art event in the sprawling park on the coroner of Ponsonby Rd and Beresford St features art installations, interactive art and performances.
Some of the art is made from recycled materials or is solar powered.
It's a free show which runs on Saturday night as well. Watch out for the Localist Kombi in the vicinity and come and say hi.
