It’s getting to that time of year, when families dust off their boxes of Christmas lights and string them all over the front lawn.
Each street and area in West Auckland will have their own ‘must-see’ Christmas lights display - houses that are familiar to neighbours old and new. Although there are no public displays of lights out west, there are still plenty of homes around ready to share the Christmas cheer.
Localist has a list from the council of West Auckland houses that will be putting up lights this year, starting from December 1. Plans may change, so some of these homes could end up not participating - but it’s still a great chance to explore your own backyard and see what’s out there!
