"Finally.... A bouquet of flowers from Wild Poppies Florist, Great North Road. The girls there will talk you through it and help you come up with something befitting your special night. If you don't get some after that then you must be in a coma!"
" Right from the get go, my Wild Poppy experience was a positive one. The website is beautiful, modern and easy to work. They sent an order confirmation which they followed with an update email of when my rose would be delivered. The rose was delivered within the time stated, was packaged beautifully and the rose was a great quality rose! Wild Poppies offered the cheapest single rose price by at least $20. Highly recommended"

"We're meant to remember to take the time to stop and smell the roses ... and the Hamilton Gardens is the right place to do it! Taking time out to wander around the gardens is really relaxing, they're so well looked after. The Maori garden especially is an interesting place to learn about the medicinal uses for plants, friends from overseas will find this fascinating."

"Gengy’s is the largest size restaurant in Hamilton and caters for all size groups and their BBQ buffet is not only delicious but healthy too."
"So. Much. Food. Gengy's has always been a fave - I mean, as much as you can eat for dinner, and then those delicious pancakes afterwards?! Winner. I love being able to choose all my own ingredients and spices/dressings, then watch the chefs cook it up. Cool experience, and great for big groups."

"Great modern bar with outside seating and heaters which is ideal for a smoker like me, also do some great bar snacks and yummy food and have a great selection of beers on tap and often has some live music playing here - perfect for after work drinks"

"If you are out in South Auckland and want to spend your Saturday afternoon chilling out in a queer friendly little cafe then Pukekohe’s retro themed Cafe Kaos is just the place. The two owners are absolutely gorgeous and will look after you well. Check out their movie nights if you are wanting to find something to do on a night out in the country."

"This place makes you feel like you're not in a city at all. The water, people feeding ducks, kids biking around or playing on the playground, the nice cafe, and general relaxed feeling is awesome - come here on your lunch break to take a breath of fresh air before heading back into the office, and bring some bread to feed the birds!"

"Great atmosphere and love the corn chips nibbles at Mexico Food and Liquor on Victoria Street in Hamilton. Can’t wait to try the tacos to go with the litre jug of Sanria we just ordered."
"WOW, We are highly impressed. We arrived on what seemed a busy night in town for every restaurant but were warmly welcomed through the doors of Mexico, having never been there before the authentic warm feeling I felt walking through the doors was something I had not experienced before, This is what Hamilton needed to keep everyone on their toes. I also had my two children and they made them feel very welcome, they did not once get bored and throw any form of tantrum as they were provided entertainment via the Mexico staff. The Food was incredibly affordable, we spent $80 in total feeding a family of 4 including a few cocktails & coronas, the food was very tasty and the service was fast. If you have not experianced Mexico yet, I recomend you get on down now."

"Great cafe to stop for lunch to do sone work, and enjoy free Internet hot spot. Excellent selection of fresh food. Buzzing cafe in Hamilton Centre. Recommend"
"Friendly staff, fast service, and wi-fi. All the things I like in a cafe! I often use this place for meetings, it's pretty popular but I always seem to find a table. Their slices are really good, and it's nice and centrally located - parking isn't generally an issue either. Big thumbs up!"
