"Finally.... A bouquet of flowers from Wild Poppies Florist, Great North Road. The girls there will talk you through it and help you come up with something befitting your special night. If you don't get some after that then you must be in a coma!"
"I ordered a bouquet of flowers for my grandmum and she absolutely loved it. The flowers were so beautifully decorated that it made her day. She has also recommended Wild Poppies to her other friends."

"This market really is going from strength to strength. Great selection and atmosphere. The only down side is that the pipers had been relegated to the outskirts for being too noisy. If you wake early on a Sunday morning and need to keep your rug rats entertained, then set your compass bearing south to Clevedon. Fresh produce, coffee and horse rides (or tractor rides if you are a little less equine inclined). Don't forget to chat to the producers at their stalls, that's what the experience is all about. I had some smoked salmon from the market this evening. Just beautiful."

"Unless you live out south chances are you’ve never heard of Totara Park - which is a shame because you are missing out! This is a park I have been going to since I was a little kid, draw cards back then were the two awesome adventure playgrounds (especially the hidden one with flying fox) and the horses trotting along one of the treks. Oh and the outdoor pool! Now days its where I head to when I want a decent walk through the bush for a bit of a light workout. With the new addition of mountain biking trails Totara Park is definitely an all rounder."
"One of Auckland’s newest bike trails and close to the city centre. The trails are perfect for a beginner to intermediate. You’ll be able to enjoy patches of beautiful native bush and a little bit of creek action. Some of the tracks aren’t as well thought out as other parks but you can’t beat the close proximity to Auckland and the surroundings."

"Well priced horse riding camp in the Auckland region. It is a great place for kids to learn to ride and immerse themselves in thing equestrian and other outdoor activities. There is bible study/morals training every day but it is not over the top. The staff are very nice and the kids liked the food. The older kids help the younger ones."

" Wow I can't wait to give this ago . What a deal on Groupon today $75 to give it a go, so I have treated myself to a long over due adrenalin rush. Can't wait to take the controls and do some aerobatics. Only thing I wish is I hope they will let me do "wing walking" it's at the top of my bucket list in must do experiences. Watch this space to find out how it goes."
" For his 50th birthday, my Dad requested adrenaline. He had done a skydive so I bought him an X Flight. I purchased the most expensive package with the theory more money = more thrills. I was not mistaken. If the safety talk isn’t terrifying enough, the plane is ridiculously fast and the G forces are intense. The pilot claimed that it would make the skydive look like a cup of tea and a lie down and, according to Dad, he was not far wrong. You will go through rolls, both horizontal and vertical, flying upside down and dives – but don’t worry, they supply you with a sick bag. They also film the whole lot so that you can purchase it afterwards and check out all the funny faces that you make. Dad came down very quiet and for the record made it all the way home before he vomited. He is so glad he did it and the thrill was well worth it. However, he has requested something quiet for his 60th. "

"Every bloke loves a good fishing trip, and Fishy Steve’s Fly Fishing company provides just that. Fly Fishing on Lake Taupo is an amazing experience, and they do say, if you want to have your trout and eat it too, the only way to do is to catch it. Treat Dad this Father’s Day to a whole day out on the water doing what guys love to do - fish. Well, most guys anyway."
" Had a great day out on the rivers around Taupo with Steve. Went to a couple of the smaller streams that I've always had trouble fishing in the past, and Steve was able to unlock their secrets for me. I caught good, hard fighting fish .... lost a few as well! Also learned how to "roll cast" which stood me in good stead later in the week on the Tongariro as I was able to fish some difficult to get to spots that others had walked past. Thoroughly recommend a day being guided by Steve, you'll learn lots of tricks even if you're already an experienced fly fisher. Chris."
" I have fished all over the world from Europe to the US for the last 30 years and can honestly say that Fishy Steve is one of the most competent and friendly Guides I have ever met. I have know fished the Taupo and surrounding region for the last four years and have used Steve's services on 7 occasions now. Steve always delivers, even in very tough conditions he manages to make a great day of it. I have tried Heli and Raft fishing with Steve and they were 2 of the most exciting and fulfilling days fishing I have ever had. Both my Brother and Father have now also used Fishy Steve's guiding services, with similar experiences. As well as finding fish Steves intimate and in-depth knowledge of fishing styles and techniques has improved my abilities considerably. I would have no attention of recommending Steve's Guiding services to anyone - Hi is my only choice in New Zealand ! Dave Allen, Melbourne, Australia P.S. His wife makes great lunches too ! "
