"If you're driving north through Matakana you must stop at Blue Ice Cream Cafe which is the home of the amazing OOB Organic Ice Cream. OOB is off the charts as far as ice cream goes, it's made from real fruit and is so delicious, their flavours are really creative too. Blueberry is a personal favourite of mine and you can see and taste the real blueberries which is awesome, I also love the licorice flavour which is much more delicious than you would think, the licorice flavour translates really well into ice cream. This place is super popular in summer though so make sure you allow enough time for a visit. The prices are really good too and you can buy tubs to take away with you."
